Privacy Policy: Our policy for protecting personal information

Rigaku Mechatronics Co., Ltd., a member of the Rigaku Group, makes every effort to protect personal information according to the Privacy Policy of the Rigaku Group.

We make every effort to protect personal information as described below, in order to comply with the laws concerning protection of personal information.

  1. Use purpose of personal information
    The Rigaku Group only uses personal information for the purposes described when that information is obtained.
    In keeping with the limitations needed for its business operation.

    The Rigaku Group only obtains personal information after receiving consent from the individual
  3. Submitting personal information to a third party
    Except where required by national regulation, the Rigaku Group will never disclose personal information to a third party without approval from the individual.
    When the Rigaku Group needs to share personal information with a third party or consign handling of the personal information to it, the Rigaku Group will only do so after completing a confidentiality agreement with that entity and only after investigating the credibility of this party.
    The Rigaku Group will continue to supervise the handling of the information.
  4. Managing personal information
    The Rigaku Group makes efforts to maintain the personal information it posses in a precise form and to keep it updated.
    Further, in order to prevent the loss, damage, modification, or leaking of personal information, the Rigaku Group takes appropriate information security measures.
  5. Disclosure, modification, discontinued use, and deletion of personal information
    The Rigaku Group recognizes that every individual has a right to request us to disclose, modify, add, delete, or stop using, and erase the personal information we have about him or her.
    When the Rigaku Group receives any request of this sort, we will respond accordingly, limited only by the government regulations concerning personal information.
  6. Organization and training
    The Rigaku Group assigns management level staff to protect personal information, in order to handle personal information properly. In addition, the Rigaku Group holds training sessions for directors and employees, to teach them how to protect and manage this information, so that they will handle personal information properly in their daily operations.
